From the shell through to a lined and carpeted interior, Phil builds sheds around how the space will be used. Multi-bay storage, workshops and hobby spaces can be sized and sited for the block, with doors, windows, lining and finishes planned as part of the job.

Carport and garden store

Sheds

Two separate storage builds. A timber-framed carport with translucent roof and wall sheeting, alongside open firewood bays behind a slatted screen; and a cedar-clad garden store finished with black trims, spouting and downpipes.

Pergola over new decking

Post-and-beam pergolas built over new decking and paving. One photograph shows posts set out and braced over a boxed and reinforced slab before the pour; the other, a finished cedar pergola with clear roof sheeting over a new deck.

Retaining and landscaping

Outdoor

Timber retaining walls that stabilise sloping sections, drain properly behind the face and sit right in the landscape. Terraced where the fall is too steep for a single wall.

A tidy weatherboard enclosure that hides the wheelie bins without looking like an afterthought. Built to match the house cladding and paint.

Outdoor entertaining pavilion

Renovations & bespoke

A freestanding pavilion with an outdoor fireplace, built to shelter a dining and barbecue area year round. Framed, clad and finished on site by Phil.

A standalone room built alongside the house, clad to match and fitted with arched french doors. The kind of one-off job that has no standard plan to follow.

A new home taken through from foundations to handover, finished with a full-width timber deck across the living end. Consent, pricing and trades coordinated by Phil.

Framing and structure

New builds

Structure and fit-out on three separate jobs: a steel portal frame with timber wall framing going up on a new slab; the interior of another building at lining stage, with a steel mezzanine over one end; and a timber garage frame set on a fresh slab into a hillside section.
